Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Are we met at the Nairobi Airport? Yes, we always look forward to meeting our guests.
In the Mobile Camps are there showers? Each tent has a shower facility with hot water, soap and shampoo.
What are the toilet arrangements? Each tent has a flush toilet with soft toilet paper.
Do you offer double beds? We have twin sprung beds that can be place together on request, made up with sheets, blankets and pillows. All night lighting as required.
Can we ask for our food and drink preferences? We do cater for special diets on request.
Insects Each Tent is sprayed with insect spray whilst clients are at dinner, where necessary. There is also an insect repellent supplied in each tent.
What about tipping? You need to allow for the tipping of hotel staff, driver/guides and your camp staff.
Do you do laundry in camp? Laundry can be done only at Lodges where two nights are spent. Laundry is done daily in our private camps.
What is the approximate temperature? From 35*C to 10*C
When are the rains? Long rains April and May. The short rains October – November.
What are the months from the Migration? End of July through to October. Erratic as their movement follows the rain pattern.
What about insects & mosquito nets? The tents zip up all round and have insect proof windows.
Are we able to keep in touch with our A satellite phone is available for use if needed where Families? mobile phones are out of range.
